Jamu juice is an anti-inflammatory turmeric and ginger health tonic. It's simple and quick to make.

Ingredients  

  • cup 0,8 dlfresh turmeric roots, chopped
  • cup 0,8 dl fresh ginger roots, chopped
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 3 cups 6,75 dl of water

Instructions

  • 1. Clean turmeric and ginger and remove any loose skin or blemishes. No need to peel. Chop or slice.
  • 2. Put it in a high-speed blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • 3. Strain through a fine sieve or a nut milk bag (it´ll stain), and pour into a glass jar or a bottle. Dilute with more water if desired. Refrigerate.
  • 4. Serve as is or with ice.
