SAVORY FRENCH TOAST
½ loaf bread, sliced ½ cup chickpea flour ½ tsp salt pinch of kala namak (black salt) 1 cup oat milk (or other plant-based milk) 1 tbsp oil vegan cream cheese (optional)
Start with slicing the bread loaf.
Add ½ cup chickpea flour, ½ tsp salt, a pinch of kala namak, and 1 cup oat milk into a mixing bowl.
Whisk together until well combined.
Dip bread slices in the mixture. Make sure both sides are well coated.
Preheat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook 2-3 minutes per side, until a golden brown and crispy.
Top with cream cheese, or other toppings of choice.
