Who could know that one day, humanity will invent something so tasty and easy as nice cream? This walnut nice cream is so easy and simple that it´s barely a recipe. But I like it so much, so I want to share with you anyway. You´ll need only three ingredients for this recipe. It's not hard to figure out which ingredients I'm talking about. Yes, it´s frozen bananas, walnuts and dates. If bananas are sweet enough for you, just skip dates.

First time I heard about nice cream was years ago, and at that time I wasn't a big fan of bananas. I mixed two frozen bananas in a blender that wasn't made for this kind of recipe, added a little chocolate sauce, and made a nice cream disaster. It tasted frozen blended banana with frozen chunks of unblended banana. So I gave up this fantastic, tasty, healthy recipe for a while (for few years to be more exact) because it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't remember how and when I decided to give this soft serve a second chance, but I'm glad I did.
Now when I need my weekend sugar kick and have nothing at home that can satisfy my need, frozen nice cream is my savior. My fridge is always filled with frozen bananas, in case sugar cravings kick in.

Can I freeze this after making it ? I'm thinking if I was serving guests and wanted some ready. Thanks

I'm not sure. It is a soft serve banana ice cream, you can always try and see if it works freezing it and thawing for a while before serving. 🙂
