    About Plant-Baked.

    Welcome to Plant-Baked Kitchen! 

    The mission of Plant-Baked is to share simple, quick, and easy, healthy plant-based recipes. 

    I love to cook with fresh and seasonal produce, whole grains, natural sugar alternatives. I care deeply for the environment and I'm all about making sure we have a healthy diet. And the best way to do this is by eating organic plant-based food that's free of pesticides and chemicals!

    I like using as few ingredients as possible so that my recipes are easy to follow but also delicious!

    Hi, I'm Emica! I'm the recipe creator and photographer here at Plant-Baked. 

    I live with my boyfriend Filip, daughter Ebba and cat in the beautiful Swedish city of Karlshamn, where we have a townhouse.

    Growing up, I used to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. But it wasn't until after going vegan that cooking became something more than just an activity to do together-it turned into one big passion! Going vegan - it was like this whole new world opened up!

    Some recipes are inspired by my Yugoslavian heritage, while others come from more travels across Europe and the USA!

    I love experimenting with fresh produce and creating healthy recipes. I find that cooking is one of the best ways to get creative, especially when it comes down to trying out different flavors or ingredients! Going vegan forced me to think of different alternatives and methods for preparing our meals, which made life on this side very exciting!

    My love for food started here, and it's only gotten stronger since then!
