I’m so tired today. Somebody please kale me!
Woke up way too early today and what works best to stay awake is coffee. Kale, I mean kale. Ok, a combination of these two. My body doesn’t know how to function properly without a daily dose of caffeine. But kale is good too.
As kale have so many health benefits, nothing is fitting better on a day like this than a green kale smoothie. As I’m not a health expert, I won’t talk so much about all the benefits.
I can only tell you what I experienced myself, and that is whenever I make kale smoothie I feel more energized and so much happier. It feels like I’m invincible and I can concur the world. Ok, not that much energy, but you get it. More power. Vegan power. Kale power.
In another post, I wrote that I hoped for Universum to send me, or someone (anyone) to sponsor me with a Vitamix or a Blendtec..well, I thought to myself “You can be that person!” So yeah I sold my kidney (just kidding daah) and sponsored myself with a 3 horsepower, beast blender. I know somebody (me) who will work extra shifts to pay off the beast, but… worth it.
So now that I have my new blender, my smoothies are always so creamy, without chunks and stuff. I’m always in the kitchen blending stuff.
Just so you know, be prepared, smoothie recipes are coming. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
- 3 cup stemmed and chopped kale
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 ripe banana
- ½-1 cup water
- Combine kale, frozen mango, banana and half cup water in a blender and blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
